CamViewer

A simple webcam enables anyone to see live footage from anywhere in the world. You can visit countless web sites which include one or more feeds, from exotic places or important cities. CamViewer gives you the possibility of fetching webcam images from the Internet and viewing them on your desktop.

You can install this lightweight application in no time. It is compatible with almost any Windows platform and it uses less than one MB of disk space. You should also know that CamViewer is freeware, so you don't have to buy a license if you intend to use it.

All you have to do is paste a feed's URL on the application's interface and click a Start button. The live feed has the same quality as the source media. It takes up most of the interface and you can stop it and restart it at any time. Additionally, you can take screenshots, just by clicking a button, located in the upper left corner of the Window. The screenshots are saved automatically in CamViewer's installation folder, in JPG format.

You can right click anywhere in the preview area to reveal a few options for starting or stopping the feed, setting up and using a proxy and changing the refresh interval. By default, the application will refresh after a few seconds, so it may not look like it is displaying a live broadcast, but you can fix this, by setting the refresh interval to one second.
